Apparently, "FEDER" means "feather" in German.
When you're trying to think of a title, and one SUDDENLY POPS UP, unlike one you think and think about, it feels like FATE.
It certainly felt like fate this time.

D·N·ANGEL has actually been going on for 8 years.

When I looked at all the OLD ILLUSTRATIONS when I was choosing which to include in this book,
I had a hard time choosing, and I realized that I, not in the habit of keeping a diary,
used the illustrations I had drawn up until now as precious "keys" to unlocking memories of that time,
and the pictures I was choosing were making something of an ALBUM for me.

So if those who have been supporting me,
and also those I am meeting for the firs time {she's referring to the readers here}
if this book serves the same role as a "KEY" in your life,
I would HONESTLY be very happy.

Please, keep this by your side forever.

Another thing about this book.
I have several ETERNAL DREAMS of professions I'd like to be,
and one of those, a "PHOTOGRAPHER", has been granted.

I took rolling shots, and upside-down shots too.
Doing these randomly was a lot of fun.
"DAISUKE'S FEET" and "DARK'S FEET"  were what I was trying to convey,
While feeling the warm air, I THOROUGHLY AND PURELY ENJOYED
chasing after the characters as they didn't appear in the manga.

It was a very valuable experience. I also took Polaroids of our workplace,
And I took some involuntary photos of my friends, took any pictures I wanted, and so part of my
unusually secretive daily life was revealed (seriously.). After all, artwork,
when created by many people, the color, complexity, and taste becomes richer, and more than anything else,
unexpected and unplanned things happen, so it's very fun;
I really felt this way.

Lastly,
To the designers who dressed this book up in novel new ways
that couldn't be done with manga,
and all the people that helped to make DN into an art book,
this work was really a lot of fun.
